These sockets are 378mm long with a 145mm square base plate, sockets come with a hinged lid as standard (see drop in lids for replacing missing lids).
Once installed these sockets are designed to sit flush to the surface, making them suitable to be used on any multi play surface or just to close off the socket when posts are removed.
This provides protection from any unwanted materials filling the socket.
Fits Steel & Aluminium 76mm Square Tennis Posts.
Galvanised finish.
Please look at our lockable type sockets if the lids need to be secured when posts are removed.

Tennis Posts Winders & Replacements

Winder – c/w Handle & Screw - TW-01

A fully brass winder made in England
Winder is secured into tennis post by 4 brass screws.
The handle slides onto square shaft and can be secured with the retaining screw when adjusting the net and then remove to stop anyone changing the net position without permission.
Winders are made to fit on our (R & J Hill) posts only.

Freestanding Tennis Posts

Freestanding Tennis Posts - TFS-01

Posts made from 76mm with 3.2mm wall thickness square steel, with 5 connecting links. Polyester and nylon reinforced powder coated in Green.
Fully brass British made winder.
Brass pulley and spindle in winder and anchor posts.
Tennis posts are fitted with wheels at the top of the post and on the base, which enables the posts to be pushed off the court still fully erected.

Easy Move Freestanding Tennis Posts

These freestanding tennis posts are specifically design for ease of movement this unit has 6 braked castors allowing 360 degree movement.
The extra advantage of the design of these posts is it is possible to get a better net tension than other models; this is best achieved using 2.5mm tennis net, although any net can be used on these posts.
The base is constructed from 3 cross members and 2 end pieces all galvanized, which bolt together for a very robust construction, the nylon painted tennis posts drop into place on the base.
The tennis posts have a fully British made brass winder and a brass pulley and spindle in both posts

Self-Weighted Tennis Posts - TFS-05

Comprises of 2 removable purpose made tennis posts painted green polyester and nylon reinforced, two galvanised steel bases with three galvanised rollers weighted.
This compact design takes less storage space than any other type of freestanding type tennis posts.
Tennis posts can be set up very quickly.
For winter storage galvanised base with rollers can be left outside over winter, just removing the posts and net for storage.
The total combined weight for the set is 188Kg.
